Romulos Ragudos Jr.

Co-Conference Chair/Practitioner Advisor

Romulos is a Special Projects Engineer for the Washington State Department of Transportation - Northwest Region. Prior to joining the Public Sector, he worked as a Geotechnical Engineer for 8½ years in the Private Sector in Seattle.

At WSDOT, he performs field reviews on state highways and develops a recommended response or plan of action to address operational or safety needs throughout the Northwest Region.

He was born and raised in Seattle and earned his BSCE and MSCE from the University of Washington.

He is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) currently serving as President-Elect of the Seattle Section, WRYMC 2024 Conference Co-Chair, and Practitioner Advisor to the University of British Columbia (UBC) ASCE Student Chapter. He previously served as President, Board Representative and Past Executive on the Seattle Younger Member Forum (YMF) Board, and contributed to writing the 2019 Washington Infrastructure Report card.

In his free time, he enjoys Traveling and cheering on the Huskies, GO DAWGS!!
