Kaylie Mattingly

Kaylie Mattingly is a recent graduate from the University of Washington in Seattle with a BS in civil engineering. She now works for Perteet, Inc. as a civil engineer for their transportation design team. Kaylie was born and raised in Yakima, WA but her lifelong fascination with the complex infrastructure of big cities drew her to Seattle. During her time at UW, she joined ASCE and served as Outreach Chair for one year. She also participated in Steel Bridge for four years and became President of the club during her final year.

Surprising fact about Kaylie…

"I'm super creative and have a very strong need to make things with my hands. I enjoy a variety of crafty hobbies (scrapbooking, cross stitch, miniatures, etc.) but my favorite craft is crochet. I crochet little stuffed animals and sell them at local craft fairs! "
