Bianca Casem
President
Bianca is a Design Engineer at Degenkolb Engineers, and has been working on projects all over Washington for the past seven years. As a structural engineer, Bianca has worked on new construction and remodels of residential, commercial, and office buildings. She is currently part of the Forensics and Reconstruction team where she is working on damaged buildings. It’s safe to say that Bianca’s favorite part of the job is spending time on site - from crawling in attics and crawl spaces to spending an entire day to record the extensive damage.
Bianca has been involved in ASCE since her junior year at Seattle University (SU). After graduating in 2015, she has held various positions for multiple years within the Seattle ASCE YMF Section, including SU Liaison, Popsicle Stick Bridge Co-Chair, and Secretary.
In her free time, Bianca enjoys rock-climbing, paddle-boarding, building Lego sets, and spending time with her dog Berkeley.
